[Great to be (almost) 8]

It's her perfect dress.

The one she chose 3 months ago when we first went looking.

Still the one she picked when we went shopping today.

Made me a little sad to slip that beautiful white dress over her head this morning as my brain flashed ahead a few years to when it will be a wedding dress I'm helping her into.

When I saw her smile, I knew we'd found the perfect dress.

Of course, when you find the perfect dress, you can't wait to do your pictures!

So, we ventured out in 25 degree weather to shoot some pictures for her baptism invitations.

My baby isn't a baby anymore.

She's a beautiful girl.

Just as beautiful as she is tough.

Sure do love her!

May is such a busy month.

June is my recovery month.

Only this June has been just as busy as May.

Not loving that so much as I feel like I'm playing catch up in every area of life!

You've seen them both all prettied up for pictures - now here are these little munchkins in real life.  I personally think they are just as beautiful, sassy, and delightful in real life as they are prettied up for pictures.  They are such good friends.  So good for each other.
I hope they are always friends like this.
